Having spent 10 years with Irish Permanent, Tommy joined Pauric in 1997 to form what was known at the time as Oates Conlon Breheny, which incorporated a new Auctioneering Company to complement the existing Life, Pension and Investment business. Together with Pauric, they have developed the business into one of the North West’s leading Property and Financial Services providers. Tommy’s main focus is on the property company but he would also be involved with the financial company side of the business on a daily basis. Tommy is well known from his GAA involvements having played and managed Sligo GAA teams at Minor, under 21 and Senior levels.

Pauric set up an Independent Brokerage in 1991 and bought Conlon Life and Pensions in 1993 from Tom Conlon and helped grow an already thriving Financial Services company. The key drivers he feels to ensuring this growth continues, is to provide the best advice along with the best customer service – simple as that. Pauric is a qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and is the Pensions expert within the office. Having over 25 years’ experience within this area gives Oates Breheny Group a key competitive advantage as both individual Pension seekers and group and company pension schemes want to ensure they are getting the best advice about this complex financial product. Pauric also presents the Workplace Financial Education programme throughout Ireland on behalf of the National Consumer Association of Ireland.

Deirdre who joined the Property Team in 2013 is one of the most experienced members of staff having worked in the industry for over 17 years where her professionalism, knowledge and experience has made her an invaluable member of the Property company, with special responsibility in bringing sales to a successful conclusion amongst many other roles.

After over 10 years in the Banking sector Declan joined the property team in 2003. Declan brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to both the sales and rental departments. Declan is well known in sporting circles in Sligo and is a former captain of Strandhill Golf Club.

Nicole specialises in all things marketing & especially loves working with Social Media. She will ensure your property has that standout factor online. Nicole is currently in the process of obtaining her auctioneering licence which will help her go above and beyond for all our clients

Having previously worked over 10 plus years in Banking with Permanent TSB, Nicola later moved back into the property sector were she holds over 6 years of experience. Joining our Sales Department in November 2021, Nicola brings great knowledge and is more than happy to assist you on your property journey!

After working in the Property Management sector for a number of years, Sinéad joined the business in 1998 in the role as Rental Manager of the new Rental & Property Management Division. Since its inception Sinéad, along with her team, has developed the business into Sligo’s leading Rental Agency, managing hundreds of properties in Sligo and its environs. Sinéad is an Associate Director of Oates Breheny Property Services Ltd.

Sonja joined our team as Rental Property Advisor in March 2016, having spent close to 20 years with both Elanco and Abbott Pharmaceuticals in a supply-chain capacity. She brings a wealth of experience in customer service and administration through her dealings with clients on behalf of both of these multinational companies.

Kellie started her career in the hospitality sector before going to study in IT Sligo were she graduated with an honours degree in Business & Digital Marketing. Kellie also worked in Eir Customer Care before then joining Oates Breheny Group in August 2020 and is now a valued member of our rental team. Kellie is also currently completing further studies in obtaining her auctioneering licence in TUDublin. She is very customer focused and will always do the most for our clients!

Shane joined the business in 2002 having spent 10 years working for Irish Permanent and Permanent TSB in a number of roles. He is a firm believer in lifelong learning and as such on top of being a Qualified Financial Advisor he also holds a Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.). He obtained the Retirement Planning Advisors qualification along with the Mortgage Diploma and General Insurance Diploma also. He recently obtained the certificate in Personal Insolvency Practice. This follows on from the ethos of the company to provide the most up to date and best advice available. He has lectured in Sligo IT for their Financial Services Programme. He is also the company’s mortgage expert for both residential and commercial mortgages. Shane also presents the Workplace Financial Education programme throughout Ireland on behalf of the National Consumer Association of Ireland.

Having graduated from ATU Galway with a honours degree in Economics & Finance in 2017, Alanna went onto work in general insurance, accountancy practice & life insurance for the last 5 years. Alanna joined our Mortgage team in November 2020 & is currently working towards obtaining her QFA qualification. She understands the fears about starting the mortgage process and will assist & guide you on your mortgage journey.
APA - Mortgage Advisor
Sarah joined the team in April 2022 as a Mortgage Advisor. Having spent 20 years in a fast paced customer focused role including the Healthcare industry and most recently the Insurance industry. She has achieved an APA in General insurance. She is highly focused in delivering great customer service while making the process as seamless as possible. She is happy to assist you with every stage of your mortgage process.
QFA - Customer Services Manager
Ciara joined the company in 1994 and has worked in various administrative roles. She is presently Customer Services and Compliance Manager. Ciara is dedicated to providing good customer service at all times and ensuring everyone in the office adheres to the best customer service practice. Ciara is also a Qualified Financial Advisor.
QFA - Financial Planning Consultant
Sean joined the company in 2014. He has 14 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry. He started as a financial consultant with Irish Life before joining AIB as a Financial Planning Consultant where he stayed for 11 years. During this time Sean was promoted to a Senior Financial Planning consultant. Sean was awarded the governing body medal for best overall student whilst completing a certificate in Business Studies with distinction at Sligo Institute of Technology.
QFA, FLIA, CFP, MSc - Life, Pension and Investments Manager
Tony joined the team as pensions and investments manager in 2021. He has over 40 years experience working in financial services. He worked with the Insurance Corporation of Ireland for 10 years as a liability underwriter . He worked with Standard Life for 32 years as a business manager helping financial advisors across the Northwest and Midlands on all things pensions and investment related . He is a Certified Financial Planner and holds a Masters in Financial Planning through UCD
